As part of the annual Christmas Parade & Visit with Santa, Friday December 5 from 6:00pm to 7:00pm, the Chamber will be adding a family friendly event to the evenings activities. The Merry Mile will be an un-timed, 1 mile fun run. The run will begin prior to the Christmas Parade and participants will receive holiday accessories to wear during the run. The out-and-back course will allow the runners to lead off the parade as Santa prepares to ride down Davis Avenue and make his way to the North Pole. At the end of the run, the fun continues, as participants are invited to celebrate their success in the Huntington Bank Drive Thru lot. While there participants can enjoy refreshments and watch all the parade entries go by. This will also give participants premier access to the "North Pole" (YMCA) for visits with Santa.
