Farm Bureau Meeting

Come out and join the Randolph Co. Farm Bureau on Tuesday, April 21 at 7pm at the 4-H camp in Beverly, for our monthly meeting! This month, we will be watching the movie, “Cattle Handling Principals to reduce stress”, by Temple Granden. Refreshments will be provided. We Hope to see you there!!

Rubber Ducky River Race to help liver patient

Rubber Ducky Race on the Buckhannon River to help raise funds for Miss Avery Thacker, a beautiful four month old baby girl diagnosed with Biliary Atresia who needs a liver transplant. Thursday April 23rd at 6:00 pm at the Buckhannon River Walk by the Boat Ramp. There will be food, prizes, raffles, and fun for all ages! 
 
CASH PRIZES: 
First Place - $500.00 first duck to cross finish line
Second Place - $200.00
Third Place - $100.00
Last Duck to Finish - $50.00

Strawberry Sale

Harman School 7th grade class is selling freshly picked strawberries from North Carolina. Berries will be delivered Friday May 15th. $14 for half a flat and $23 for a full flat of berries. Contact Harman School to place an order.

Scotty McCreery Concert

“American Idol" winner Scotty McCreery will perform at Harper-McNeeley Auditorium at Davis & Elkins College. Saturday, May 2, with doors opening at 6:30 p.m. The concert is a collaborative effort between Davis & Elkins College and the Elkins/Randolph County YMCA, with proceeds benefitting the restoration of the YMCA pool. Tickets are $30, $35 and $40 for reserved seating and they may be purchased online at www.dewv.edu/arts-entertainment/ or by calling the Davis & Elkins College Box Office at (304) 637-1255.
